Soccer

Love soccer? Connect with our soccer community that watches English Premier League matches together. Sometimes we also play pick up games with other people from the neighborhood. For more information text Humph Mahowa at 661-621-5987.

New To Faith

Want to grow in your faith? Our new to faith regroup will teach you the basics of Christianity.This is an opportunity to you to learn the simplicity of what it means to follow Jesus.The regroup is facilitated by our elders Bob and Debra Ruiz.

Cooking

Want to cook for people in Linda Vista? Most of our community participates in the Linda Vista neighborhood dinner one Thursday a month. This is an opportunity for the people of this community to get to know each other and share life experiences. The dinner happens at Montgomery Middle School. Gardening

The Gardening ReGroup is an opportunity to learn from and give back to our community in the form of vegetables and flowers and a beautiful garden space. This is a partnership with Bayside Community Center to develop backyard community gardens throughout Linda Vista, making land and gardening accessible to the community. The Gardening ReGroup will join together each season for a “Planting Day,” as well as for monthly maintenance and harvesting days. It will be an opportunity to literally grow things to sustain our community, and to get in touch with God in the garden.

Creative Writing

The Creative Writing Regroup meets monthly on Fridays at 6pm and is a space to explore your inner creativity. You will get the chance to learn about different writing styles and practice your own writing skills. No experience necessary and multilingual writers are welcome!
